PFYD collaborates with Philly ASAP (After School Activities Partnerships) as an official partner organization to volunteer at over 30 middle and high schools in and around Philadelphia. In addition to funding our volunteering effforts, some of our tournament revenue gets put into funding full scholarships at summer debate programs for children like Akayla!
Akayla (PFYD mentee of 3 years): When we first met Akayla, she was shy, timid, and unsure if speech and debate was the right activity for her. Fast forward 3 years, we recently sponsored Akayla to attend her first debate camp this past summer.
